Output can be written to stdout or alternatively sent to a message queue in binary format. This command is not intended to be run on its own - rather use the ziomon command. .SH OPTIONS .TP .BR "\-h" " or " "\-\-help" Print help information, then exit. .TP .BR "\-v" " or " "\-\-version" Print version information, then exit. .TP .BR "\-V" " or " "\-\-verbose" Be verbose. .TP .BR "\-a" " or " "\-\-adapter" Number of the adapter to monitor. That is, .IR /sys/class/scsi_host/host must exist. .TP .BR "\-l" " or " "\-\-lun" watch I/O error count of specified LUN. Specify each LUN separately in h:b:t:l format. That is, .IR /sys/bus/scsi/devices/h:b:t:l/ioerr_cnt must exist. .TP .BR "\-s" " or " "\-\-sample-length" Time to elapse between samples in seconds. .TP .BR "\-i" " or " "\-\-interval-length" Time to elapse between sending data in seconds. The samples will be aggregated over this period. Defaults to the duration. The interval lengh must be a multiple of the sample length. .TP .BR "\-d" " or " "\-\-duration" Overall monitoring duration in seconds. The duration must be a multiple of the interval length. .TP .BR "\-Q" " or " "\-\-msg-queue-name" Name for the message queue to use. Note that the usage of a message queue for the output requires that all of parameters -Q, -q and -m are specified. .TP .BR "\-q" " or " "\-\-msg-queue-id" Id for the message queue to use. Must be an integer >0. Note that the usage of a message queue for the output requires that all of parameters -Q, -q and -m are specified. .TP .BR "\-m" " or " "\-\-msg-id" Id for the messages to use when sending to a message queue. Must be an integer >0. Note that the usage of a message queue for the output requires that all of parameters -Q, -q and -m are specified. .SH EXAMPLES Monitor adapter 1 and the LUN at 0:0:1:2057 for 5 minutes, sample every 4 seconds and send the data every 20 seconds to a message queue. The message queue is named /tmp/ziomon.23943, the id is 95 and the the messages should carry the id 17: .br ziomon_util -s 4 -i 20 -d 300 -Q /tmp/ziomon.23943 -q 95 -m 17 -a 1 -l 0:0:1:2057 -L 18 .SH "SEE ALSO" .BR ziomon (8), .BR ziomon_mgr (8), .BR ziomon_zfcpdd (8)
