NAME¶
docker-credential-pass - store Docker credentials using pass
SYNOPSIS¶
docker-credential-pass command
DESCRIPTION¶
docker-credential-pass is a credential helper for the Docker engine that uses pass(1) as the credentials store. It allows Docker to securely store and retrieve registry authentication credentials.
pass needs to be configured for docker-credential-pass to work properly. It must be initialized with a gpg2 key ID. Make sure your GPG key exists in the gpg2 keyring as pass uses gpg2 instead of the regular gpg.
COMMANDS¶
- store
- Adds credentials to the store. The payload in the standard input is a JSON document with ServerURL, Username and Secret.
- get
- Retrieves credentials from the store. The payload in the standard input is the raw value for the ServerURL.
- erase
- Removes credentials from the store. The payload in the standard input is the raw value for the ServerURL.
- list
- Lists stored credentials. There is no standard input payload.
- version
- Prints the version of the credential helper.
CONFIGURATION¶
