Fetch WAL files received from either the standard \fBarchive_command\fP or streaming
replication with \fBpg_receivewal\fP and store them in the server\(aqs WAL archive. If you
have enabled \fBcompression\fP in the configuration file, the WAL files will be compressed
before they are archived.
