如果提供了非空的 \fIinfo\fR 引數，它被用於初始化全域性變數 \fBerrorInfo\fR。\fBerrorInfo\fR  用於積累關於在發生錯誤時正在處理什麼的一個棧追蹤；在巢狀命令終止的同時，Tcl 直譯器向 \fBerrorInfo\fR 新增資訊。如果存在 \fIinfo\fR 引數，則用它來初始化 \fBerrorInfo\fR   並且 Tcl 直譯器不向它新增終止資訊的第一個增長。換句話說，包含 \fBerror\fR 命令的命令將不出現在 \fBerrorInfo\fR 中，在它的位置上的將是 \fIinfo\fR。這個特徵與 \fBcatch\fR命令聯合使用很有用: 如果一個捕捉到的錯誤不能被正確處理，使用 \fIinfo\fR返回一個棧追蹤來反映錯誤發生的原始點:
