NAME

SIMPLE-BACKUP - programm suite to do a simple desktop backups

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the Simple Backup Suite commands.

Simple Backup Suite is a set of programs that allow to do simple and complex backups with GUI tools only.

OPTIONS

A summary of options is included below.

Within SBackup an URI can be either a path to a local file or directory or a reference of a remote SSH server in a form of ssh://username:password@example.com/remote/directory/. Generally any GnomeVFS accessible location should work.
This is an URI of a directory where all backups are held in.
Default: /var/backup/
This ir an URI a subdirectory of a specific backup image, it is usually a subdirectory of the target-directory-uri.
Example: /var/backup/2005-08-12_00.00.02.422308.example.inc
Name of a file or directory to restore
Where to restore the file or directory to. This can be a name of a file or a directory. Non-existing directories will be created. Existing files will be renamed out of the way. If this parameter is ommited, then the target filename will be the same as the source filename and the file will be restored to the same location that it was taken from on backup.
