설명¶

이 파일은 평이한 아스키 파일로, TCP/IP 하위시스템에서 사용가능한 다양한 DARPA 인터넷 프로토콜들을 설명한다. 이는 ARPA 참조 파일내에 숫자를 사용하거나, 추측하는것 대신에 신중하게 고려되어야 한다. 이러한 숫자들은 IP 헤더의 프로토콜 필드에서 일어난다. 이 파일은 그대로 놔두어야 한다. 왜냐하면, 변경을 하면, 부정확한 IP 패키지가 초래될 수 있기 때문이다. 프로토콜 숫자들과 이름들은 DDN 네트워크 정보 센터에 의해 지정된다. 각 행은 다음의 형식을 갖는다.

Keep this file untouched since changes would result in incorrect IP packages. Protocol numbers and names are specified by the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority).

Each line is of the following format:

where the fields are delimited by spaces or tabs. Empty lines are ignored. If a line contains a hash mark (#), the hash mark and the part of the line following it are ignored.

각 필드에 대한 설명은 다음과 같다.

protocol

the native name for the protocol. For example ip, tcp, or udp.

number

IP 헤더에 보이는 프로토콜에 대한 공식적인 숫자.

aliases

프로토콜에 대한 선택적인 앨리어스

이 파일은 Yellow Pages.NIS나 BIND.Hesiod와 같이 긴 이름의 서비스 네트웍을 사용하는 네트웍에 배포되었다.
