timelimit.netpipes - limit execution time of foreground tasksnetpipes 4.2
SYNOPSIS¶
timelimit.netpipes [ -v ] [ -nokill ] time command argsDESCRIPTION¶
timelimit.netpipes is used to limit the amount of foreground wallclock time a process consumes. Once the time limit expires, timelimit.netpipes will kill the process, unless -nokill had been specified.-v adds some diagnostic messages.
EXAMPLES¶
remote$ timelimit.netpipes 5m faucet 3000 --out cat time-sensitive-info
