SYNOPSIS¶

guix download [OPTION] URL

DESCRIPTION¶

Download the file at URL to the store or to the given file, and print its file name and the hash of its contents.

Supported formats: 'base64', 'nix-base32' (default), 'base32', and 'base16' ('hex' and 'hexadecimal' can be used as well).

-f, --format=FMT

write the hash in the given format

-H, --hash=ALGORITHM

use the given hash ALGORITHM

--no-check-certificate

do not validate the certificate of HTTPS servers

-o, --output=FILE

download to FILE

-g, --git

download the default branch's latest commit of the Git repository at URL

--commit=COMMIT-OR-TAG

download the given commit or tag of the Git repository at URL

--branch=BRANCH

download the given branch of the Git repository at URL

-r, --recursive

download a Git repository recursively

-h, --help

display this help and exit

-V, --version

display version information and exit
