acediff - compute the difference between two ACE format files

SYNOPSIS¶

acediff [-d] oldfile newfile > diff

DESCRIPTION¶

acediff compares two ACE format text files and writes to standard output the ACE commands needed to transform the first file into the second one. Loading newfile into a given acedb database has the same effect as loading oldfile followed by loading diff.

OPTIONS¶

-d

Debug mode: keep the intermediary files temp[ABC][12].
