SYNOPSIS¶

anthy-dic-tool [options]

DESCRIPTION¶

anthy-dic-tool is a CLI tool to manipulate dictionary files for anthy.

OPTIONS¶

--help

Print help output.

--version

Show version.

--dump

Dump dictionary.

--load

Load dictionary.

--append

Append dictionary.

--migrate

Migrate Anthy text dictionary to Anthy-Unicode text dictionary.

--eucjp

Use EUC-JP encoding.

--personality=NAME

Use NAME as a name of personality.

--text

Use text dictionary with --append or --load option.

--src=FILE

Use FILE as the source file.

--dest=FILE

Use FILE as a destination file.

EXAMPLES¶

To migrate to anthy-unicode dictionary:

anthy-dic-tool --migrate --src=file1 --dest=file2

To load a user customized dictionary file:

anthy-dic-tool --load --src=file1

or:

cat file | anthy-dic-tool --load

DICTIONARY FORMAT¶

See /usr/share/anthy/dic-tool-usage.txt and /usr/share/anthy/typetab for all necessary information to customize a dictionary.
