csaf_uploader - upload advisories to a CSAF trusted provider

SYNOPSIS¶

csaf_uploader [OPTIONS] advisories...

DESCRIPTION¶

Sends each advisory file to the upload interface of a CSAF trusted provider, the one csaf_provider(1) implements. The advisory is validated against the CSAF JSON schema before it is sent, so the schemas from the csaf-oasis-schemas package are needed.

Authentication is by password, and the password can be sent as a plain value or hashed, depending on how the provider is configured.

OPTIONS¶

--help lists all options. The ones that decide where the upload goes are -u, --url, -a, --action, -t, --tlp and -p, --password.

FILES¶

Read in this order, the first that exists wins: ~/.config/csaf/uploader.toml, ~/.csaf_uploader.toml, csaf_uploader.toml in the current directory. Override with -c, --config.
