dnsip[fqdn]

DESCRIPTION¶

dnsipresolvesfqdnand prints the IP addresses offqdnon a single line.Iffqdndoes not exist,dnsipprints a blank line.You can list severalfqdns;dnsipprints each result on a separate line.

Normallydnsipexits 0.Ifdnsipencounters a temporary problemthat prevents it from determining the list of IP addresses,it prints an error message and exits 111.The same comments apply to the other programs described here.
