NAME

isdbname - Check whether a supplied string is a known database name

SYNOPSIS

isdbname [-term string] [-infout toggle] -outfile outfile

isdbname -help

DESCRIPTION

isdbname is a command line program from EMBOSS (“the European Molecular Biology Open Software Suite”). It is part of the "Information" command group(s).

This option will write to file information (from the EMBOSS data file DRCAT.dat) for the database with a name that matches the supplied string. Default value: N
