mdrlist — Sinclair ZX Spectrum Microdrive cartridge file lister

SYNOPSIS¶

mdrlist [OPTION] microdrivefile...

DESCRIPTION¶

mdrlist outputs cartridge information and a file-level listing of one or more MDR Microdrive cartridge images. Cartridge information includes the cartridge name, formatted block count, available space and write-protection state.

The default listing decodes saved file headers and identifies BASIC programs, number and character arrays, CODE and SCREEN$ files, and PRINT files. It also reports each file's length, block count, completeness and checksum status.

An optional block-level listing displays the header and record fields of every formatted block, including flags, record lengths and checksum status.

OPTIONS¶

-b, --blocks

list every cartridge block instead of the default file-level listing.

-h, --help

give brief usage help, listing available options.

-V, --version

output version information.

microdrivefile

specifies an MDR file whose contents are to be listed.
