DESCRIPTION¶

The Mat_VarWriteInfo() function remains in the public API for compatibility, but current matio versions do not support it. Calls fail and emit a diagnostic directing callers to Mat_VarWrite() or, for MAT 7.3 files, to Mat_VarWriteAppend().

DEPRECATED¶

This function is deprecated since version 1.5.14. Use Mat_VarWrite or, for MAT 7.3 files, Mat_VarWriteAppend instead.

RETURN VALUES¶

The function returns MATIO_E_OPERATION_NOT_SUPPORTED.
