NAME¶
proxytrack - proxy to serve content archived by httrack website copier
SYNOPSIS¶
proxytrack <proxy-addr:proxy-port>
<ICP-addr:ICP-port> [archive ..] [--list <file-list>]
proxytrack --convert <output> [archive ..] [--list
<file-list>]
DESCRIPTION¶
proxytrack serves pages already archived by httrack(1) without going online. It answers HTTP proxy requests on the first address. It answers ICP queries, such as the ones Squid sends, on the second address. It reads httrack caches (hts-cache/new.zip, or the older new.ndx with new.dat) and .arc files. The archived content can also be browsed under /webdav on the proxy address.
With --convert, it merges the archives into a single .zip cache or .arc file instead, then exits.
OPTIONS¶
- archive
- an httrack cache (new.zip, or new.ndx with new.dat) or an .arc file
- --list <file-list>
- read more archive paths from this file, one per line
- --convert <output>
- merge the archives into one .zip or .arc file, then exit
- -h, --help
- print this help and exit
- --version
- print the version and exit
EXAMPLES¶
- proxytrack localhost:8080 localhost:3130 /home/archives/example.com/hts-cache/new.zip
- serve that mirror as a proxy on port 8080, and answer ICP queries on port 3130
- proxytrack --convert /home/archives/merged.zip /home/archives/a/hts-cache/new.zip /home/archives/b/hts-cache/new.zip
- merge two mirrors into merged.zip
ENVIRONMENT¶
- HTS_LOG
- Set to a number above 0 to print internal statistics on the console.
DIAGNOSTICS¶
Errors and warnings are written to the console.
