DESCRIPTION¶
gpe-soundbite allows short voice messages to be played back or recorded through the internal audio system on the embedded device. This manual page was written for the Debian(TM) distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.COMMANDS¶
play filenamePlay an existing file - if no file is
specified, a dialogue box is shown to locate the file to be played.
If --autogenerate-filename is used, an existing path must be
specified.
record filename
Record to a new or existing file - if no file
is specified, a dialogue box is shown to locate the file to be used. Existing
files will be overwritten.
If --autogenerate-filename is used, an existing path must be
specified.
stream
Stream sound to STDOUT for capture by another
process.
If --autogenerate-filename is used, an existing path must be
specified.
