mtext_search - Locate an M-text in a specific range of another.

DESCRIPTION¶
Locate an M-text in a specific range of another. The mtext_search() function
searches for the first occurrence of M-text mt2 in M-text mt1 in the region
from and to while ignoring difference of the text properties. If from is less
than to
, the forward search starts from from
, otherwise the
backward search starts from to
.
RETURN VALUE¶
If mt2 is found in mt1 , mtext_search()
returns the position of the first occurrence. Otherwise it returns -1. If mt2
is empty, it returns 0.
