mixer - Open Sound System mixer (control panel) device

DESCRIPTION¶

Mixer devices are used by control panel and mixer programs (such as ossxmix(1)) to change volumes and other settings of the sound cards in the system.

FILES¶

/dev/mixer is the default mixer device file in the system.
